a fire in their collective bellys. Where was the intensity? The just sort of rolled over and … died.
It’s not over yet. Maybe they are sufficiently embarrassed and will come out and win two in LA.
Remember guys, it is the Cubs. Try not to get emotionally involved. You’ll only get hurt. And in the end, it was a great ride even if they do fall short.
when the bandwagon hit a telephone pole at 60 mph! The carnage is unbelievable and will just reinforce all the media blabbers to bring up all the bullshit curses. Just one sickening display.
I knew that Z would pitch well. I thought that we would get some runs, especially after Soriano got to 2nd with no outs in the first. After that it just sort of fell apart faster than I could have imagined.
Too much pressure did the Cubs in tonight. This was a MUST WIN game. So what happens? They fell apart.
You know they wanted it badly or did they? Lou said they wanted to win it for Chicago, for their loyal fans, etc.
But too much pressure really knocked them silly.
They still have a chance.
Go Cubs!
