I thought of this name after reading someone else’s guess….what about another former catcher that I can’t remember his first name, last name Pratt? (Mark Pratt maybe???)
He was on the 1994 team that wore the uniform and played parts of 2 seasons with the Cubs. What leads me away from him are the sunglasses in the photo- a catcher wouldn’t have shades propped up on his hat like that.
…the Carolina game that we led 17-0 and ended up losing 20-17. We could’ve very well ended the season 11-5, but those two games along with today’s and Green Bay’s last week proved we’d have never succeeded in the postseason whatsoever.
Ahh well, ’least the Hawks are giving me something to enjoy in the gap between football season and baseball season…
Probably Not....
I don’t remember his first name, last name Hubbard? Was a catcher???

NOPE pt. 2...
I was thinking of Todd Pratt and he only played a single season with the Cubs, ’95.
CubAngel - December 28, 2008
I believe
you are thining of Trenidad Hubbard. He was only with the Cubs for a year – the last year of his career if I remember correct.
cubbieblue86 - December 28, 2008
NOPE
I was thinking of Mike Hubbard, and he played 3 seasons with the Cubs: ’95, ’96 & ’97.
CubAngel - December 28, 2008
How about
Mark Parent.
RynoHoF - December 28, 2008
What about
Rey Sanchez?
conrad - December 28, 2008
That's what I thought
But Sanchez was a Cub for several years. Is it Jose Guzman?
elgato - December 28, 2008

cubfan2201 - December 28, 2008
It would be helpful to see more than half of his face, though.
Keith - December 28, 2008
What about

jselinger24 - December 28, 2008

Miguel Cairo?
Bill Potter - December 28, 2008
Mike Perez?
It’s either him or Eddie Zambrano, who’s mentioned above.
LaddieRenfroe - December 28, 2008
DINGDINGDING!!!
We have a winner. It’s Mike Perez, who I had almost forgotten even played for the Cubs.
Al Yellon - December 28, 2008
AL YOUR RIGHT .........
Back to the Motor City Mess LIONS went 0-16 …..Maybe the Ford family will take the fan’s serious now …..Gotta have some big changes .
cubs north - December 28, 2008
The 1976 Tampa Bay Buccanears gotta put away their champagne, their elusive record of going the season defeated is no more thanks to the Lions!
Chanman25 - December 28, 2008
Meh, with the Bears season over, its gonna be a boring two months
Chanman25 - December 28, 2008
The Bears have only themselves to blame.
If they hadn’t pissed away the Atlanta game, they’d be getting ready for a playoff game.
Al Yellon - December 28, 2008
Or for that matter...

As long as we're mentioning blown games ...
don’t forget the Tampa Bay game.
Amazing, how much went the Bears’ way this year, and still they didn’t make the playoffs.
Cubfansince1957 - December 29, 2008

I think my favorite aspect of these posts is the people who don’t bother to read the thread and submit an answer after the puzzle has been solved.
