btw, I found a way to get dual feeds going in the same browser (for instance, if you want to listen to wgn radio audio while watching the video feed). If anyone’s interested it’s easy.
I have been wondering how to make that happen, I go to school at University of Georgia so I had to buy MLB.TV Premium which I have to use to watch all the non- WGN Games, and listening to the opposing teams broadcast team is torture. Listening to Don Sutton and his ignorant side kick tonight for the Nationals game was brutal, almost as brutal as Howry. But if you could please let me know how to get that setup I would greatly appreciate it I really miss Ron & Pat. I assume the audio feed is in sync with the video feed? Just send me an e-mail with instructions on how to set this up. Thanks a lot. mikey06@uga.edu
The one thing that Riot has going for him is a lot of intelligence…he might figure out how to improve his hitting enough (e.g., like DLee did a few years ago) to make himself into a good OBP SS. So far, he can only be called a really good backup.
cash out to homeruns, and 27 years old’s don’t discover untapped power. Theriot is what he is. Ride the hot streaks when you can, but the Cub are going to have to get themselves a real SS sometime soon.
She was hilarious a couple of years ago, MC’ing the Chicago Thanksgiving parade. “Oh, Mrs. Claus. She looks great. Actually, I hear she’s had some work done…”
They were winning 4-3 going into the bottom of the 8th. That breaks their four game winning streak.
I’m a little nervous about this week for the Cubs. Two games at home against the Met, who aren’t the Pirates. And then, two games at Coors against the Rockies. After last year, I don’t want the Cubs playing the Rocks when they are hot.
uh oh
sure its one out with DUke up
but I don’t want Nate McClouth up with the bases jammed

Couple of thoughts
1. I wonder how handling the pressure of being a closer helps Demp in the situations like the 5th?
2. I can’t wait for the special tonight. Both specials for that matter.
3. This season has the potential to be a heck of a lot of fun.

Hitting is contagious.
GotMinkus - April 20, 2008
Reds Brewers
I’m not sure how to feel about this. The Brewers are going to be the Cubs biggest rivals, but the Reds are my new “most hated team ever”.
Ross - April 20, 2008
Be happy
You will get plenty of Reds losses to enjoy later.
californiachicagoan - April 20, 2008
I like Griffey
and I feel sorry for the Reds fanbase. They have to suffer through Dusty and CPat. That’s awfully lame.
zevkalman - April 20, 2008
Damn, Cedeno is dead
long live Onedec!
californiachicagoan - April 20, 2008
What a stupid post!

Reddevil - April 20, 2008

chi-townbleacherbum - April 20, 2008

RightFieldSucks - April 20, 2008
howry

grifdog - April 20, 2008
Lucky he knew which end of the bat was up!
Cubfansince1957 - April 20, 2008
They will put Ernie's statue out there

chi-townbleacherbum - April 20, 2008
RE: howry
So goes the great Howry batting experiment.
GotMinkus - April 20, 2008
Johnson lines softly to McLouth in CF
Reddevil - April 20, 2008
What does "eamus catuli" mean?
Does it mean “we are the cubs”?
Boy, my parents will give me S__t for not paying attention in high school Latin classes. Who’d have thought it?
Cubfansince1957 - April 20, 2008
loosley translated it means 'let's go cubs'
RightFieldSucks - April 20, 2008
Thanks.
I assume you mean real loosely.
Cubfansince1957 - April 20, 2008

Apparently everybody hits this inning.
I like it.
GotMinkus - April 20, 2008
Murton g.o. to third
Reddevil - April 20, 2008
These guys

sue369 - April 20, 2008
This is one of those days
That I don’t complain about a long game…
sanantonecub - April 20, 2008
Oh I'm
not complaining.
sue369 - April 20, 2008
Time get Pie in the game.
He could see 2-3 AB’s the way this thing is going. Might want to give Geo a rest, too. Going to need him fresh for the Mets.
gary varsho - April 20, 2008
They heard you...
Hank is in..
Bump Bailey - April 20, 2008
One down,

gary varsho - April 20, 2008
well Theriot's performance today with quiet the haters
Chanman25 - April 20, 2008
will*
Chanman25 - April 20, 2008
there's a noticeable lack of haterade today
RightFieldSucks - April 20, 2008
Not bloody likely.
If he keeps this up for a month, or so, maybe, but one solid game will not do the trick.
gary varsho - April 20, 2008
I would agree with you.
The one thing that Riot has going for him is a lot of intelligence…he might figure out how to improve his hitting enough (e.g., like DLee did a few years ago) to make himself into a good OBP SS. So far, he can only be called a really good backup.
zevkalman - April 20, 2008
Brains do not
cash out to homeruns, and 27 years old’s don’t discover untapped power. Theriot is what he is. Ride the hot streaks when you can, but the Cub are going to have to get themselves a real SS sometime soon.
gary varsho - April 20, 2008
You can't quiet The Riot
but he can quiet the haters.
bluebythebook - April 20, 2008
I suppose all the Cedno haters will be equally quieted?
gary varsho - April 20, 2008
What was the kid wearing on his face?
chi-townbleacherbum - April 20, 2008

chi-townbleacherbum - April 20, 2008

Chanman25 - April 20, 2008
Yup. Which is why we need to END
The guest conductor program. Let Len and Santo trade off honors.
sanantonecub - April 20, 2008
Has Len sung it before?

bluebythebook - April 20, 2008
He usually takes the

zevkalman - April 20, 2008
Oh no she didn't.
Seriously? Go Colts?
bluebythebook - April 20, 2008
I heard

sue369 - April 20, 2008

muffman - April 20, 2008
At least it was "diamonds" and NOT

chi-townbleacherbum - April 20, 2008

sanantonecub - April 20, 2008

RightFieldSucks - April 20, 2008

Reddevil - April 20, 2008

Chanman25 - April 20, 2008

chi-townbleacherbum - April 20, 2008

chi-townbleacherbum - April 20, 2008

sue369 - April 20, 2008

Geez people, lighten up and enjoy it a little, I dare you.
BlueSox - April 20, 2008
I'm loving
her on here. I think she’s funny.
sue369 - April 20, 2008
not a bad singing voice to boot.
bap - April 20, 2008
I figured you were - my comment was not meant to be aimed at you.
BlueSox - April 20, 2008
Cedeno!
Strikesout
Reddevil - April 20, 2008
more or less...
but nothing she has said has been serious
bap - April 20, 2008
Hey lay off Bonnie
She’s a huge Cubs fan… remember the cameo that Harry Caray had in her short-lived sitcom, “The Building”?
ChipSet - April 20, 2008
She seems like she'd be fun to date
I think I’m falling in love
zevkalman - April 20, 2008
Yep... funny and a quick wit
She was hilarious a couple of years ago, MC’ing the Chicago Thanksgiving parade. “Oh, Mrs. Claus. She looks great. Actually, I hear she’s had some work done…”
ChipSet - April 20, 2008
LOL
That is funny.
sue369 - April 20, 2008

chi-townbleacherbum - April 20, 2008
Felix doesn't get the love from the ump.
The ump is tired of the game and is trying to get the game over with. Hope he does that when the Bucs are batting.
Cubfansince1957 - April 20, 2008
Holy crap.
Felix got hosed. Ump must have reservations.
gary varsho - April 20, 2008

gary varsho - April 20, 2008
Did you see the SNL skit?
Kristen Wiig doing Jaime Lee Curtis.
‘Twas hilarious.
Bildo1805 - April 20, 2008
That was funny,
if a bit too long…
gary varsho - April 20, 2008
=SNL in 2008
The only things I laugh at anymore involve Kristen Wiig and sometimes Fred Armisen.
Bildo1805 - April 20, 2008
They really do have
a brevity problem. Skits are too long and even good jokes get massacred.
gary varsho - April 20, 2008
Wuertz
seems to have lost a lot of the control he had last season.
gary varsho - April 20, 2008
we have a ...
Prior jersey spotting.
chi-townbleacherbum - April 20, 2008

Bildo1805 - April 20, 2008

sue369 - April 20, 2008

chi-townbleacherbum - April 20, 2008

Sean Marshall is throwing a wrench in the works.
gary varsho - April 20, 2008
Oooooh, I see, that's good
DTJchris - April 20, 2008
Rockies just lost.
Cubfansince1957 - April 20, 2008
Marshall
snags and throws out the nameless pIrate batter
Reddevil - April 20, 2008

I’ll bet I’ll see games I saw, either on TV or in person. I know they’ll show Opening Day in ‘69, which is still my biggest Cub highlight in person.
Cubfansince1957 - April 20, 2008

Let’s get the Mets.
Bildo1805 - April 20, 2008
