P – Juan Pierre C – Terry Mulholland, Jose Macias 1b – Gody Gerut 2b – Henry Rodriguez ss – Jeromy Burnitz 3b – Bobby Hill LF – Darin Erstad CF – Neifi Perez RF – Kevin Orie
He always plays the game that way, he didn’t do anything extraordinary. His regular style of play extended the inning. Just Dome being Dome. (Manny Ramirez, eat your heart out. You heard it here first!)
first of all, don’t ruin my elation with logic… :P and second… I think a lot of people thought that Demp was really reaching to be a SP, and was going to get SHELLED in every start. He’s pitched very well. Better than Lilly or Hill, that’s for sure, and certainly better than Marquis.
You guys do nothing but jump on any statement that really didnt mean anything?
So because I choose not to accept a backround that is full of all the colors of the rainbow you guys feel the need to teach me the lessons of life. Gimme a break im not asking anyone to think like me and i can be as non-”flmaboyant” as i want, never said it was wrong or you couldnt like that stuff.
Find a new person to get mad at, it seems to be your goal every night.
I know you know what i meant. I can mean whatever i want….
If im being disrespectful or mean to anyone or calling anyone a name let me know.
But calling a picture what it is not a crime, I know your meaning in life is to attack me and argue with someone once a night.
Imma watch the game and talk about that, seeing as you would rather try to be politically correct when your wasting your breath ill let you respond to yourself up here.
Do you have any larger versions of these photos, or are these the biggest sizes you have? Because if you have full-size images, you would be my desktop wallpaper superstar.
and him going to the bullpen… What….did the SF mgmt just brainfart on the possible difficulties an AL pitcher might have when he has to pitch AND bat now?
I like Uecker, and he seems to be good-spirited about the rivalry – unlike the Marty Brennaman sort. There are literally millions of people who are much less palatable to hear during a ballgame than Uecker.
to a Brewers game on XM is that when the other team does something good, you hear dead space for 5 seconds or so because Uecker can’t stand to say what it is. the guy is funny. I think he forgets he is doing radio. It makes me laugh. Its like he is trying to make the fans have a few seconds of denial before he tells them the bad news.
and I’ve gotta get the rest of the fishing gear packed…you guys take care…and let’s make this the first game of the next multi-game winning streak! L-8-ter my nizzles!
Looked kind of lost in ST, started slow, so-so command, heater off by several MPH, no putaway capability. Then mid-May came. By June he was baaaaaaack.
I’m confident he’ll bounce back. I don’t forsee any injury-related issues here.
Anyone else on Howry? He’s not fighting through an injury, is he?
who would try to drive the ball to right field with two strikes? the guy is just trying to pull everything to left. I really feel bad for the guy. He just looks awful.
I am once again reminded of how kinda creepy that camera is. The game I went to against the Mets, a guy sat in front of me with a #22 jersey with “HART” taped over Prior’s name.
that’s why I’ve always been afraid to buy a jersey with a current player on it. You never know what will happen. I have a Santo, a Banks, and a Sandberg.
I grew up on Harry and the Cubs and I get mad when people dont add the right line at the end of the singing…then I realize I’m 30 and the kids singing probably dont even remember Harry.
I’d say “let’s get some runs” no matter the score, just because that’s the way I remember Harry finishing it. Then again, most Cub games during the Harry years needed a plea for more runs.
I’m blessed with listening to White Bread and Billy Show (Brian Anderson and Bill Schoreder). I might be one of the few that have liked the Brewers TV guys in the past (yes I liked Daron Sutton, especially when he started the Sausage Race 5K). However, they are just making some stupid comments tonight. I’m not saying they aren’t plausible because they are, but still. It’s baseball. Things even out. Take a gander:
-Conspiracy theory because the Cubs don’t have to play the Red Sox and the Yankees. -Cubs are greedy because they want more night games -No three city road trips for the Cubs
Like I said, plausible, but still excuses. It’s baseball. Things work out.
Lou complains about how his middle relief isn't...
...getting the job done, and then he burns Marmol in the late innings of a blowout and refuses to use him when the team is in tight jams.
What I wouldn’t give to spend half an hour going over a leverage chart with Lou sometime. He’d probably just punch me in the face a few times for my troubles, but whatever.
now suspending managers for multiple games…Lou cant be Lou. I dont like it one bit. I dont think we’ll ever see dirt kicked , hats kicked and bases thrown like we used to. Those days are over.
I actually like Turnbow cept the fact he’s a Brewer. If he played on any other team I’d pull for him. Big guy, power arm, pretty much a slob. What happened to him? I thought he was supposed to be a badass.
“That was one of the uglier pitching performances I’ve seen in a long time. He was either missing the plate by a mile or throwing it right down the middle. No in-between.” – Bob Brenly
It's amazing how much blowouts calm me.

Steve Phillips said that.
DeRoMyHero - April 30, 2008

This guy is the best young catcher in baseball.
Mr W - April 30, 2008
i dunno

Chanman25 - April 30, 2008
Yeah, he's terrible.
Trade him.

I honestly think Koyie Hill would be better
Chanman25 - April 30, 2008
Suit up Marmol.
northsider - April 30, 2008
you know
Jose Macias was the emergency catcher. I mean, he would be a better option..
Chanman25 - April 30, 2008
We totally need to reacquire Macias.
And Manny Alexander too. That man played HARD, darn it.
northsider - April 30, 2008
did I forget about Morandini?
He would work..
Chanman25 - April 30, 2008
And Terry Mulholland, I don't care how old he is.
To play catcher I mean. He’s a GAMER.
Then once we get him, let’s trade Lee and Ramirez for Darin Erstad.
northsider - April 30, 2008
I think they should convince Jeromy Burnitz to come out of retirement
and play SS
Chanman25 - April 30, 2008
We'd have a sweet double play combo
with Burnitz at SS and Henry Rodriguez at 2B. O HENRY INDEED!
northsider - April 30, 2008
and all we need to do is resign Bobby Hill for 3b and Jody Gerut for 1st
and damn that would be a great infield
Chanman25 - April 30, 2008
With backup Kevin Orie waiting in the wings
and Juan Pierre as our ace SP
northsider - April 30, 2008
LOL
So this is our current team
P – Juan Pierre
C – Terry Mulholland, Jose Macias
1b – Gody Gerut
2b – Henry Rodriguez
ss – Jeromy Burnitz
3b – Bobby Hill
LF – Darin Erstad
CF – Neifi Perez
RF – Kevin Orie
That’s dominating!
Chanman25 - April 30, 2008
not until you get...
Eckstein…until then…your just posing.
santoswoodenlegs - April 30, 2008
forgot
we could use him as our second pitcher

If the Cubs lose tomorrow, I’m pretty sure some will take it as one of the signs of the Apocalypse.
NittanyCub - April 30, 2008
I agree
It is crazy how blown out of proportion each game gets
pjs83 - April 30, 2008

WTF?
NittanyCub - April 30, 2008
People = one idiot
santoswoodenlegs - April 30, 2008
yep
sue369 - April 30, 2008
Yeah well the thing is that when the Cubs win it makes us happy
I don’t enjoy watching them lose
bluekoolaide - April 30, 2008
Yea, but it seems like we as Cub fans make every game bigger than it needs to be
I enjoy a win as much as the next fan, but we could lose 10-13 games a month and end up winning 90+ games
pjs83 - April 30, 2008
Keep in mind that that whole inning was because Dome hustled
HectorVillanueva - April 30, 2008
Very true
Good point!!

Dome is Dome. Should definitely be a post title. Or a slogan for a Nike commercial. I think from now anything good is going to be Dome.
“Those new shoes?”
“Yeah, just got them yesterday.”
“Man those are so Dome!”
Villeslgr - April 30, 2008
they've ALL been hustling
really. They’re patient at the plate, they’re running out of the box… I REALLY like what this team is doing philosophically.
drewishdrewid - April 30, 2008
Soto!
He’s baaaaack!
drewishdrewid - April 30, 2008
if Ryan stays in...
he’s 4-0 for the year.
Who the hell thought Ryan Dempster ever had a chance of being a 4-0 starting pitcher???
drewishdrewid - April 30, 2008

oh, come on...
first of all, don’t ruin my elation with logic… :P and second… I think a lot of people thought that Demp was really reaching to be a SP, and was going to get SHELLED in every start. He’s pitched very well. Better than Lilly or Hill, that’s for sure, and certainly better than Marquis.

sue369 - April 30, 2008
why does ESPN do crap like that?
are they trying to jinx Dempster?
LAcarl519 - April 30, 2008
What did they do?
bluekoolaide - April 30, 2008
ESPN said
that no Cub pitcher has EVER won four home games in April. (Dempster is 3-0 at home this month before tonight)
LAcarl519 - April 30, 2008
Leave it to ESPN
bluekoolaide - April 30, 2008
Cracks me up these guys talking about Zito
and him going to the bullpen…
What….did the SF mgmt just brainfart on the possible difficulties an AL pitcher might have when he has to pitch AND bat now?
Bluelou - April 30, 2008
I'm so baffled by your line of thinking...
....that I have no response to that.
cwyers - April 30, 2008
this is sarcasm, correct?
JB 23 - April 30, 2008
of course....
it sucks sometimes that mere words on a screen lose their punch.
You’re supposed to laugh! :-)
Bluelou - April 30, 2008
well I hope Demp is just out there relaxing
Chanman25 - April 30, 2008
I truly wish once Suppan left the game...
they would have played “Had a Bad Day” on the sound system
fuku-domenation - April 30, 2008
SUBSTITUTION
Green Bay Packers
IN: LT 73 Seth McClung
Oh, he’s not a football player wearing #73? Got it.
northsider - April 30, 2008
They need a touchdown and a field goal at this point.
cwyers - April 30, 2008
Dempster looks like Henry Rowengardner batting up there
fuku-domenation - April 30, 2008
pitcher pitcher pitcher!
Chanman25 - April 30, 2008
Chanman25 - April 30, 2008
I can't believe I actually got that reference
bluekoolaide - April 30, 2008
Pitcher's got a big butt!!! Pitcher's got a big butt!!!
santoswoodenlegs - April 30, 2008
hahah i was just about to take that poster and put sotos face in there.
my photoshop wont cooperate..santos ..will you>?
xene - April 30, 2008
done.
santoswoodenlegs - April 30, 2008
Erin Andrews time!
Chanman25 - April 30, 2008
she definitely deserves an exclamation point!!!!!
DC Cubbie - April 30, 2008
Saw her in the bleachers at a game last year
Think it was Glavin’s 300th. “If she were a president, she would be babe-ra-han Lincoln”.
blackhawk24 - April 30, 2008
So are we still winning?
santoswoodenlegs - April 30, 2008
Nope....
Sotos chocked bad tonight, its costing us the game
fuku-domenation - April 30, 2008
Choked*
fuku-domenation - April 30, 2008
12-3 top of the 6th...
MinnesotaFan - April 30, 2008
any bets on whether
the singer of “Take me out ot the Ballgame” says “Let’s get more runs!” at the end?
LAcarl519 - April 30, 2008
I think Uecker is singing tonight, isn't he?
cwyers - April 30, 2008
no, that's tomorrow
and I gotta tell you, I don’t understand why they keep letting him do that.
drewishdrewid - April 30, 2008
Personally I think it's kinda fun.
I like Uecker, and he seems to be good-spirited about the rivalry – unlike the Marty Brennaman sort. There are literally millions of people who are much less palatable to hear during a ballgame than Uecker.
cwyers - April 30, 2008
I love seeing Uecker in there. He gets the fun side of a rivalry
HectorVillanueva - April 30, 2008
Plus the Euck gets to sit
down in the frunt rooooow….
Bluelou - April 30, 2008
Yup, for every prick like Marty
there’s a good guy like Ueck…
blackhawk24 - April 30, 2008
the best thing about listening
to a Brewers game on XM is that when the other team does something good, you hear dead space for 5 seconds or so because Uecker can’t stand to say what it is. the guy is funny. I think he forgets he is doing radio. It makes me laugh. Its like he is trying to make the fans have a few seconds of denial before he tells them the bad news.
It must be a trailerpark way of communicating…
LAcarl519 - April 30, 2008
I have to say I've really like Uecker...
...ever since I saw Major League. Call me crass if you like, but that was sheer comedy gold.
cwyers - April 30, 2008
Agreed.
He completely stole the show.
northsider - April 30, 2008
Maybe for the brewers
Out of pity
fuku-domenation - April 30, 2008
that sucks

blackhawk24 - April 30, 2008

MinnesotaFan - April 30, 2008
It's the Reed Johnson look.
It would be cool to see a lot of Cubs grow some billy-goat chins to drive off the curse this year…
mistersite - April 30, 2008
Think Demps done?
fuku-domenation - April 30, 2008
he's up over 105 pitches
but he’s also got breathing room score-wise. I think Lou doesn’t trust the bullpen right now, and he’s justified…
drewishdrewid - April 30, 2008
Seems to be losing his edge
JFCubFan - April 30, 2008
Well...this game seems to be well in hand...
and I’ve gotta get the rest of the fishing gear packed…you guys take care…and let’s make this the first game of the next multi-game winning streak! L-8-ter my nizzles!

they are all offended (??? who the hell are they?)
Chanman25 - April 30, 2008
I hate those a**hole Howry'ans anyway...
my family were indentured servants under the Howry’ans in the middle ages.
santoswoodenlegs - April 30, 2008
apprently they also

Mr W - April 30, 2008
Agreed.
I have a friend who is a Sox fan who still giggles when I mention Howry.
pfd89 - April 30, 2008
You won't be saying this in June
He will bounce back…..
blackhawk24 - April 30, 2008
Give Howry a break
He started this way last year and by mid-May was turning it around and by Memorial Day was all the way back.
The team is deeper now. Think they have him covered.
blackhawk24 - April 30, 2008
I hope you're right.
pfd89 - April 30, 2008
Same issues as last season
Looked kind of lost in ST, started slow, so-so command, heater off by several MPH, no putaway capability. Then mid-May came. By June he was baaaaaaack.
I’m confident he’ll bounce back. I don’t forsee any injury-related issues here.
Anyone else on Howry? He’s not fighting through an injury, is he?
blackhawk24 - April 30, 2008
what is this ump's problem?
he seems to have a severe case of tourette syndrome whenever a batter strikes out
Chanman25 - April 30, 2008
Uhhh...
Do we need to move on now with the Ward experiment? He can’t even hit .100!!!!
Mr W - April 30, 2008

Well let's spell something Fielder does understand.
B-O-C-A B-U-R-G-E-R.
cwyers - April 30, 2008
Prince Fielder
Who’s Prince Fielder????
Mr W - April 30, 2008
You can't see it on t.v.
but as a reason to score, Ned Yost puts a dish full of food behind home plate for Fielder.
How do you think he got 50 home runs last season? Yost is a smart man
NittanyCub - April 30, 2008
BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Keystone80435 - April 30, 2008
He has more walks than Reed Johnson.
cwyers - April 30, 2008

Cedeno showing off his wheels?

He also has

who would try to drive the ball to right field with two strikes? the guy is just trying to pull everything to left. I really feel bad for the guy. He just looks awful.
LAcarl519 - April 30, 2008
I remember a whole slew of "Murton for certain" calls from Len.
Where did that hitter go?
HectorVillanueva - April 30, 2008
Um, a major league ballclub did everything possible to undermine his confidence...
...and drive his trade value into the ground, dooming him to rot at AAA for the rest of time.
cwyers - April 30, 2008
Dome fans from Japan in Wrigley bleacher

dragonsfanatic - April 30, 2008

HectorVillanueva - April 30, 2008

It’d be cool to welcome you to Wrigley and offer my thanks for your insightful dispatches from Japan.
northsider - April 30, 2008
Thanks
but it’s not likely to happen, unfortunately…
dragonsfanatic - April 30, 2008
If Dome and the Cubs make the postseason, would you try to watch in person?
northsider - April 30, 2008
If world series....
but those playoff tickets at Wrigley homestand should be really hard to get, right?
dragonsfanatic - April 30, 2008
Yes, but...
I may be wrong, but I’m thinking there would probably be people around here who could help you out a little.
northsider - April 30, 2008

dragonsfanatic - April 30, 2008

MinnesotaFan - April 30, 2008
you're kidding, right?
that ball was so scalded, it was boiling.
drewishdrewid - April 30, 2008
Howry doing what he does best...
Giving up doubles, triples, singles, and, oh yeah, lots and lots of home runs.
Mr W - April 30, 2008
He's given up one double.
Dempster gave one up too. Does that mean he sucks?
mistersite - April 30, 2008
I heard Cy Young gave up a few doubles, but, then again, he blew big time.
HectorVillanueva - April 30, 2008
Cy Young? If they had a farm system back then...
...he’d have had a permanent spot in AAA. He blew.
mistersite - April 30, 2008
Cy Young?????
Yeah, sure, Bob Howry is the equivalent of Cy Young…HA HA HA..oh, and by the way, how do ya like that home run he just now gave up.
yUP..Bob Howry is the next Cy Young!!!!!!!
Mr W - April 30, 2008
Unnecessary.
They are Cubs pitchers who aren’t perfect. By definition they suck.
northsider - April 30, 2008
WICKED STRIKEOUT!
Howry is NOT messing around!!!
northsider - April 30, 2008
Neither is the umpire.

I’d be embarrased.
pfd89 - April 30, 2008
That link is a beast.
northsider - April 30, 2008
I see him.
I am once again reminded of how kinda creepy that camera is. The game I went to against the Mets, a guy sat in front of me with a #22 jersey with “HART” taped over Prior’s name.
northsider - April 30, 2008
What do you do, throw away a $100 jersey?
HectorVillanueva - April 30, 2008
I've got a Prior jersey...
...and I’m probably going to wear it when I go to see the Cubs. Can’t change the past, can I?
cwyers - April 30, 2008
It's the only jersey my wife has. She only wears it four times a year, so I'm not buying her a new one.
HectorVillanueva - April 30, 2008
Understood.
pfd89 - April 30, 2008
Then again...
that’s why I’ve always been afraid to buy a jersey with a current player on it. You never know what will happen. I have a Santo, a Banks, and a Sandberg.
HectorVillanueva - April 30, 2008
Pretty safe choices.
I should have bought a Cubs jersey when they didn’t have names on them. Set for life. Unless, you know, some bum happens to be assigned the number.
northsider - April 30, 2008
he looks a bit like prince fielder........
MinnesotaFan - April 30, 2008
Come on Lou....
time to out Howry to bed now…
Bluelou - April 30, 2008
you know, if Howry doesn’t get good till mid-may WHY PLAY HIM?
drewishdrewid - April 30, 2008
maybe because it was 13-3?
northsider - April 30, 2008
Because you're up 9 runs...
...and you might as well pitch him in order to save the guys who are good now in case we need them tomorrow.
mistersite - April 30, 2008
got a point.
struck the next guy out anyway, so he got out of it.
drewishdrewid - April 30, 2008

Keystone80435 - April 30, 2008
Another slug fest?
Don’t waste time….
dragonsfanatic - April 30, 2008
inning over finally....
MinnesotaFan - April 30, 2008
Howry gives up a safety.
At least it wasn’t a field goal.
LAcarl519 - April 30, 2008
I will repeat...
Howry doing what he does best…
Giving up doubles, triples, singles, and, oh yeah, lots and lots of home runs.
Mr W - April 30, 2008
7th inning stretch singers....
yelling “Lets get some runs” when the Cubs are way up AGAIN!.
I am now realizing most of the people singing are too young to remember seeing Harry do it.
Keystone80435 - April 30, 2008
Thanks for suddenly making me feel old!
bluekoolaide - April 30, 2008
no problem
I grew up on Harry and the Cubs and I get mad when people dont add the right line at the end of the singing…then I realize I’m 30 and the kids singing probably dont even remember Harry.
Keystone80435 - April 30, 2008
who sang tonite?
MinnesotaFan - April 30, 2008
Time to go to bed.
Gnite!
pfd89 - April 30, 2008
If I sang the stretch
I’d say “let’s get some runs” no matter the score, just because that’s the way I remember Harry finishing it. Then again, most Cub games during the Harry years needed a plea for more runs.
HectorVillanueva - April 30, 2008
No, during blowouts he'd usually say
“we’ve got enough runs-let’s hold ‘em”!
bluekoolaide - April 30, 2008
Unfortunately, I didn't witness many blowouts in my childhood.
HectorVillanueva - April 30, 2008
If the Cubs were winning he always said “Let’s hold’em”. He only said “Lets get some runs” when they were behind.
And thats what you remember becuase the Cubs were usually behiund haha
Keystone80435 - April 30, 2008
Too true!
bluekoolaide - April 30, 2008
with a big lead
I would say, “that’s for you, Harry!” or “Let’s hold ‘em!” but that’s about it. You gotta be flexible.
LAcarl519 - April 30, 2008
with a big lead
I would yell ” Lets get some beers!”

FSN Wisconsin excuses
I’m blessed with listening to White Bread and Billy Show (Brian Anderson and Bill Schoreder). I might be one of the few that have liked the Brewers TV guys in the past (yes I liked Daron Sutton, especially when he started the Sausage Race 5K). However, they are just making some stupid comments tonight. I’m not saying they aren’t plausible because they are, but still. It’s baseball. Things even out. Take a gander:
-Conspiracy theory because the Cubs don’t have to play the Red Sox and the Yankees.
-Cubs are greedy because they want more night games
-No three city road trips for the Cubs
Like I said, plausible, but still excuses. It’s baseball. Things work out.
TkGoUWGB - April 30, 2008
Tell me they're not serious about that stuff!
bluekoolaide - April 30, 2008
Sounds like they are drinkng beer in Chicago
while watching their Brewers are being hammered….

Mr W - April 30, 2008
get some work so he doesn't get rusty
northsider - April 30, 2008
Wow...i just look at the tv...
I guess Lou wants to win.
santoswoodenlegs - April 30, 2008
Some of those other managers, though, they want to lose.
Glad we don’t have one of those.

MinnesotaFan - April 30, 2008
We need a nickname for Carlos,
How about Carlos “The Marvelous” Marmol?
Mr W - April 30, 2008
He already has one, White Castle.
northsider - April 30, 2008
Sliders that make you crap your pants?
HectorVillanueva - April 30, 2008
Carlos?
Carlos “crap your pants” Marmol? Naw, just doesn’t quite have that ring to it. Nice try though.
Mr W - April 30, 2008
It wasn't a try.
You must be new, White Castle has come into parlance here.
northsider - April 30, 2008
haha
Keystone80435 - April 30, 2008
Ha! That's the best one I've heard in a while!
Itchy - April 30, 2008
Woodie in 9th?
eswan9 - April 30, 2008
Lou complains about how his middle relief isn't...
...getting the job done, and then he burns Marmol in the late innings of a blowout and refuses to use him when the team is in tight jams.
What I wouldn’t give to spend half an hour going over a leverage chart with Lou sometime. He’d probably just punch me in the face a few times for my troubles, but whatever.
cwyers - April 30, 2008
I think he response would be...
“Do you have a world series ring? Cause I do…I really really do.”
jds2 - April 30, 2008
Lou actually does seem somewhat open to new thinking...
...about things, as opposed to some managers. Ah well.
cwyers - April 30, 2008
I imagine it would go
something like this.
Kidding aside, Lou has mellowed. But still.
northsider - April 30, 2008
With the league
now suspending managers for multiple games…Lou cant be Lou. I dont like it one bit. I dont think we’ll ever see dirt kicked , hats kicked and bases thrown like we used to. Those days are over.

They are worse than really bad—horrid. Actually, they are worse than horrid, but I don’t have a Thesaurus handy so I can’t accurately describe it.
I wonder if their pitchers and position players are even on speaking terms.
DeRoMyHero - April 30, 2008
well their pitchers aren't all stars either
jds2 - April 30, 2008
So let's get some runs
MinnesotaFan - April 30, 2008

Do we still have Calvin Schiraldi in the bullpen? He can pitch the 9th for us.

Keystone80435 - April 30, 2008
No 20
but Cedeno’s nickname has caught on so fast, they’ve made a company in recognition of his achievements:
NittanyCub - April 30, 2008

I was glad to see Daryle Ward get a hit.
You have to love Lou’s patience with certain guys. We know we’re going to need him before the season is over.
Now, Lou, what about Pie?
Cubfansince1957 - April 30, 2008
Pie played today.
took a walk too.
northsider - April 30, 2008
you answered your own question above.
drewishdrewid - April 30, 2008
Kendall grounds to Wuertz, 1-3.
2 out.
northsider - April 30, 2008
Rediculi
I’d ask the cubs to save some runs for later, but these guys can put runs up at will when they have the discipline at the plate that they do….
19-5 over the Brewers is better than sex…
martyblue - April 30, 2008
back to wuertz goes kendall
two outs.
drewishdrewid - April 30, 2008
Book it,

Tomorrows score:
Brewers 2, Cub 1
Mr W - April 30, 2008
And you base that on what?
Cubfansince1957 - April 30, 2008
44 Years,
Woops…
44 years of being a Cubs fan, my friend, 44 years.
Mr W - April 30, 2008
I've got you beat.
But as long as you’re a Cubs fan, I’ll grant you that opinion. I just hope you’re wrong. Let’s hope they didn’t leave it all behind tonight.
Cubfansince1957 - April 30, 2008
You know what?
I also hope I’m wrong. And I also hope all the anxiety and dread for the past 44 years will come to an end this year as well.
Mr W - April 30, 2008
Well, today was fun
but it’s honestly one single game. Hopefully the Cubs can keep this going tomorrow.
