Curious minds would like to know...
Did they play a new song today, when Kerry walked out to the mound?
SackMan - April 6, 2008
they did...but what it was is escaping me right now... :)
..they really dont turn up the volume so it doesnt have the impact I imagined...
That final pitch to Tejada was filthy....
David- awesome shots!

The other thing is...
... a song like that really doesn't have that much impact when the pitcher comes in between innings. If they want it to have any impact, they should wait till after his name is announced.

The pictures I've been enjoying but especially today when I didn't see or listen to the game.

Nice job as always!
I tell ya -- I'll NEVER get sick of seeing those "Kerry Wood strikes out so-and-so to end the game" pics. So sweet!

What a game!
Yesterday's game had everything you could possibly want, home runs, great plays and Lou coming out of the dugout to handle business. And I got to snag an Ernie Banks plaque....thats one of the perks when you work at Wrigley

take a look at Woody's follow through...
on the Tejada game-ender vs Kendall's game ender. In the dirt, he's falling off to the 1st base side, high heat, he's stepping directly towards the plate.
Is this an illusion or no? Wondering if his different pitches result in different deliveries in terms of where he ends up after the pitch is thrown.
blackhawk24 - April 8, 2008
I'm guessing it's an illusion...
... based on exactly when each photo was snapped.
