Bleed Cubbie Blue

A Post About Posts

While we await the start of the biggest series between the Cubs and a NL Central rival in five years, I wanted to say a few words about posting here; there are a lot of new BCB members and I think a few reminders are in order, just so we all get along and this site continues to be a great place for Cubs fans to congregate.

First, here are the words you all agreed to when you signed up for your BCB account:

When posting at this blog, please follow this one simple rule: Before hitting "post" to post your remarks, ask yourself: "Would I be embarrassed to say this in front of strangers who were physically present in the room with me and could respond to my face?" If the answer is "yes," then don't post. BCB encourages and welcomes all opinions, no matter how strong; however, personal attacks, vulgarity, and other uncivilized forms of expression are not welcome. Thanks.

I don't think this is too much to ask and virtually everyone here goes along. But I've been getting too many emails lately from concerned people who have been worried about the increasing amount of profanity and personal attacks. Let me make it clear: those things are not acceptable. I can understand a bit of profanity in a game thread -- sometimes the heat of the moment makes all of us do that -- but let's try to keep it to a minimum.

On the personal attacks: the acceptable level of those is zero. If you disagree with someone, say so. But saying "You're an idiot", or language like that, is just plain wrong. I refer everyone again to the quote box above. Every single post here is written by a real person with real feelings. You may disagree with that person's opinion. But that does not give you the right to call that person names.

Thanks for understanding.

On a similar but related topic, I have also received a number of emails regarding the fast pace with which the FanPost list gets filled up. This is a double-edged sword. BCB is an active site and so, it's going to get more posts than others with less traffic. And I don't want to discourage anyone from participating. One simple thing that everyone can do is check the recent post list or do a site search to see if your topic has been covered within, say, the last couple of days. If it has, post your thoughts in a comment in the original post, or in the game recap -- I will always have a recap up quickly, usually within an hour or two after the end of day games and by 9 am CT on the morning following night games. That will avoid things such as having three or four FanPosts about Jeff Samardzija within a few hours.

One thing that also might help is more use of the FanShot section. Perhaps I haven't done a good enough job of explaining what FanShots can be used for. Most of you have used them primarily for photos and/or video, which is fine -- but you can and should also use them for quick links or quotes or lists or things that you don't really have anything more to write about than to say, "Hey, here's a link I found, it's interesting." In that regard, please check out this FanShot Tutorial posted last week on the SBN Padres site Gaslamp Ball, which explains in more detail how it's supposed to work.

Finally, there have been a number of people who have signed up for an account here for, apparently, the express purpose of making a post to promote their site selling merchandise. Such spam posts will be deleted without notice.

Thanks for reading this -- as this pennant race heats up in August and September, I'd expect even more people to stop by and check out BCB, and I'd like it to be a welcoming place for every Cubs fan as our team goes runnin' down a dream.

Now let's go get those Brewers tonight. Go Cubs!

First in!

And yes, on to the Brewers. Should be a hell of a ride! Remember, never easy!

Thanks Al.

It’s too bad you had to step in and scold us again, but thank you nonetheless…

You do a yeoman's job, and it is much appreciated...
Seconded.

It’s a good reminder, too.

With Sabathia going tonight

I assume we won’t see Edmonds, and we most likely won’t see Fukudome.

If Lou wants to go with an all-RH lineup, he could do that.

That would also mean Cedeno at 2B.

We have seen a bit of Onedec recently

Might not be the worst idea

My thoughts are that Piniella needs to find a way to rest Fukudome once a week

And possibly find a way to rest Lee and Ramirez once every 2 weeks even with an off day.

If he wants to do that...

... Mark DeRosa can play all three of those positions.

yeah

but he doesn’t bat great when it happens.

IIRC

he hits pretty well when he plays third

he should use some lefties

you dont want a pitcher to face the same thing each time. having a couple of lefties in there give him something different to pitch to. it can really break up pitcher timing.

I think Ed will be in the line-up, but not Dome.
might I add???

If there is any newsworthy baseball topics about 99% of the time its posted here within a matter of minutes. If your trying to post it say after about 5-10 minutes after the story has been broken it’s almost always already up.

thank you Al for the job you do, without you and many here those of us like me who are far away wouldnt have anywhere to get good info.

Al, when will you be at Miller?

I’ll arrive Tues for the Weds game. We will be in the Loshe ? section behind 3rd. How about you ?

Will be there Wed & Thurs...

... in the 200 level. IIRC, 222 on Wed, 225 on Thurs.

Anyone heading north this week?

I’ll be in section 117, row 1 on Wednesday if anyone wants to meet for a beer and a Cub’s win.

Headed up on Thursday.

My girlfriend and I have standing room tickets.

It might be good

to also say that you sometimes delete FanPosts that are silly, redundant, free of real content, or way off topic. It could make some think twice before deciding to post one that might be considered such, as well as provide some way of explanation for the disappearance of some recent FanPosts on here.

That's true.

I usually email the person who made the post. But yes, I do occasionally delete FanPosts like that.

Please .. Be Nice To Your Fellow Cub National

Remember ..

Every time you’re not nice to another Cubs fan, a kitten will die

Please, before you type tonight OR on any other BCB post .. think about the kittens

Love

Love will keep us together…

Great Website Al

I love this website. I have been looking for something like this for years to no avail. I believe that people should not be censored as to their opinions (First Amendment and all) but personal attacks, I agree, should not be tolerated. Respect someone’s opinion even if you do not agree. We all are wanting the same thing… for the Cubs to finally win the World Series. I have family members who were die hards who never got to see the Cubs in the World Series in their lifetime…. my dream is to drink a beer in their honor as they hoist that W flag at Wrigley for the world Series clincher.

the clincher

I think I will cry, scream, dance, drink to alot of peeps honor etc.

The pitching matchups

are great. I don’t know how you could predict game winners in the middle two matchups. I think we are on the short end of predictions tonight with Lilly vs. CC. Z-Sheets is a guess, same with Dempster-Parra. I would think the Harden-Bush matchup is the one we are clearly favored in. Winning three is going to mean we get a couple of breaks somewhere. The series may come down to the Cubs drawing some walks and getting a timely hit. Anyone else have any concrete reasons why we should expect three wins?

I think tonight’s game is going to come down to the bullpens…..unless CC goes a complete game, it goes to the bullpens, and the cubs have the better bullpen. All these games really are going to be decided by the bullpens, because all the starters are going to go deep in the games.

CC throwing a complete game might be a good thing, overall

Sure, that probably means a tougher game for us tonight, but it would also mean their bullpen would be well-rested for the rest of the series, making it that much easier for Yost to go to it when he starts thinking about it. And anytime we can get Yost thinking, especially thinking about going to that bullpen, that has to be a plus for us.

Yes, I’m invoking some Machiavellian logic here. Sun Tzu as well. Whatever it takes…

Not bad

But I say, bring on the relievers early and often—tire out that ‘pen tonight and tomorrow so that if they’re needed Wednesday and Thursday, they’re REALLY exhausted.

I think...

... you can’t necessarily predict results just from pitching matchups. As I noted somewhere else, who would have thought the Astros would take 2 of 3 from the Brewers this past weekend (and with better relief pitching, might have swept)?

And the Rockies beat the Brewers

with Glendon Rusch going against Ben Sheets.

Right.

That’s why they play the games. I remind everyone again - and will do so in the pregame thread today, too - that the only time the Cubs faced Sabathia they beat the living daylights out of him.

and by golly

were gonna do it again!!!!

i was there, and sabbathia got pounded! the key to this seriesis to keep our offense going!

i don’t look at it like as “wow, sabbathia’s hot”, but rather, “he’s been playing so well lately that he’s due for a bad game”!

I'm excited...

...but also a little terrified of these 4 games against the Brewers. These games could go either way, frankly, these two teams are in contention. As someone else mentioned doing the little things will likely mean victory for one of them. The Cubs have been in a rough patch since the break, I hope yesterday’s game was the ice breaker, because if you can’t get up for playing the Brewers, you can’t get up at all. And as a Cubs fan, I want to see some vengeance for dropping 4 of 6 to the Brewers in Wrigley earlier. :)

Go Cubs!

I know, I know

we have to play the games. But, these are such interesting match-ups. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen the potential for such great pitching match-up, especially with our team! I hope we blow them out all 4 but for now I’m going to be following this series very closely!

I'm still "Runnin down a dream"

With Al’s Tom Petty reference. Saw him last week, and he was great as usual. Now that song will be in my head all day…...

They have been playing that song recently...

... when the Cubs have taken the field.

Interesting note from the Crane Kenny meeting...

Kenny told us that they keep track of the Cubs record when what song plays when the Cubs take the field. He said that Runnin’ Down a Dream was leading the way with only 2 losses (as of last Wednesday).

Kasey

They've always played it a lot on WGN radio too..

One if my fave Petty songs, and a nice tribute to the great Del Shannon.

That song had it's heyday late summer '89

I like this site too…...I was on another one, firedustybaker.com…..that obviously was dedicated to dusty leaving, and it’s still up, but sometimes the posts got a little personal. I like this site it’s activity and variety of viewpoints. I also like Al’s recaps and before game posts. I enjoy reading those.

FOr this 4 game series, I think a realistic goal is a split. I really don’t see this team sweeping the brewers, although if they do, you can be sure you’ll hear me shouting all the way from Kuwait! Losing 3 out of 4 would be tough, very tough, though not something that couldn’t be made back up.

woah woah woah

a site dedicated to getting a guy fired sometimes got a little personal?

that’s shocking!!

you’d think a site that was dedicated to taking a man’s job would never do such a thing….

OK it got REALLY personal at times…....some real venom going back and forth…...lol

I like to think that the Brewers can't sweep us

instead of “this team can’t sweep the Brewers.”

Gotta spin it with postitive vibe.

Go Cubs!

Al, thanks for the reminder

What a great thing we’ve got going here thanks to Al .
Let’s not screw it up and have it looking like the message board on Cubs.Com which is nothing more than a place for people spewing their venom.
This is the reason I moved over here , I like the riding the positivity train.
Thanks Al

Apropos of nothing

(but not worthy of a FanPost):

Eric Patterson was called up by Oakland, and Matt Murton sent down to Triple A Sacramento. Patterson led off yesterday against the Rangers, going 0-3 with two walks and a run scored. He played left field, where Murton had appeared in nine games for the A’s since the Harden trade, going 3-30 with 1 BB and 7 Ks.

Jerry Blevins, the former Cubs LHP farmhand who was traded to Oakland last year (along with Rob Bowen) for Jason Kendall was called up three weeks ago and has a 0.79 ERA in 10 relief appearances for the A’s.

How is Gallagher doing?
3 starts...

... 1-0, 2.60 ERA, 12 BB, 19 K in 17 innings.

I liked him... I wish him well
I hope he has a great career

Maybe down the road we could sign him as a free agent.

Yeah, this is really nice to see.

And I’m saddened to hear about Murton’s continued struggles.

Gallagher did give up five runs in five innings in his last start.

Four of them were unearned. His WHIP with Oakland is 1.73.

I like Gallagher, too, and want him to succeed. I think he still has a ways to go, though.

Yeah, he may struggle for a while....

...particularly in the AL. But it would be nice to see him do well over the next few years.

Nothing better

than watching 2 solid teams with great pitching matchups for the next four days. Talk about appointment TV.

I think this series is going to be a great indicator of how this team will play if we make the playoffs, tight or relaxed.

I agree... this is exciting... "How 'bout that"
Marquis & Larry didn't get the Memo

I watch about 50 Marlins games & 50 Cubs games a year….... Anyone that throws Mike Jacobs a ball below the waist is a Dope….... that would be the Cubs Pitchers…. this guy
like our old friend “K” orey loves high heat….. I have yet to see him connect on a high fastball with the L O N G slow loopy swing he has….. but he can make contact on a low breaking ball…...... so obviously what we hear about these guys watching film can’t be
true…...Jacobs is a .245 hitter with 80 k’s the 77 hits & 22 HR’s all came from around his knees….......................

Sorry AI

Since I posted a fanpost last night that got deleted this morning I have a feeling that it may have prompted you to post this one….at least partly.
It was an attempt at a humorous way to get some of the baiters and trollers off my back.
I didn’t aim anything at anybody in particular.
I guess I failed at the humor part. It was taken more seriously than I expected.
If I post here again I’ll be more careful.
My apologies. I wasn’t trying to be offensive.
I appreciate the work anyone does in running and monitoring a site. I don’t want to make your job any harder.
This is a really well run site.

The reason I deleted your post was that it was about you.

This site isn’t about you. It’s about the Cubs and baseball.

I for one

enjoy seeing your post’s and while that one was off topic and not really about the Cubs I think it was handled pretty well, unfortunately too many posters feel that someone who is a fan of another team can’t speak intelligently about thier team.

I agree that it's nice to have someone who is a fan of another team posting...

... if they do it intelligently as Dave has, for the most part. It’s good to get another perspective.

Attacking him simply because he’s a Cardinals fan is not acceptable here.

And thanx AI.

I think we can put this to rest now. this shouldn’t be about me either. :)

+1

from a Cubs fan in Cardinals country. I can relate, in a way, to a Cardinals fan on a Cubs blog.

Thanx, carolinacub...

I’m glad you feel that way. I assume you saw it before it was deleted. It wasn’t really about me at all. I merely used myself as a vehicle to point out exactly what you just said.
I should have done it in a different way. I’m starting to feel bad about it now because it was totally misunderstood.
I don’t want to say anymore about it except that I’m glad to hear you say you thought it was handled well.
You understood it. Thanx

Cub's Town

Any doubt that this is a Cub’s town? The Sox are doing just as well as the Cubs yet I hear very little buzz about them. Just an observation.

Not surprised at all...

It’s been that way for awhile now. But actually, (Dr. Crawdad and Al probably can be more specific) up to about the mid to late 80’s or so, it’s been more of a Sox town.

1983 - A Sox Town

Of course, in 2005, there were a lot of bandwagon White Sox fans. The last time I could say the White Sox were THE true favorite MLB team in Chicago was 1983, when LaRussa managed them to the AL West title.

how many times has z faced sheets this year?

won’t this be the third time?

i think cc is due for a bad start, he is human after all…..combine that with the big mo, i think the cubs will win tonight….after all it looked like we would end up in 2nd place (you know the brewers were watching the scoreboard) and then all the sudden fonso goes deep and the astros scored 7

It may be worth reminding people

...that they can adjust the number of diaries that appear on the left hand side. Just go to your profile (click your name in the top banner) , click on “Edit Settings” and change the “Number of Recent FanPosts to display” to something like 20.

I forgot all about that feature, thanks for the reminder!
Excellent!

that helps!

Thanks for reminding me.

I knew it, but forgot it.

Maybe I'm wrong .. because I don't get time to visit here often ..

but overall, the tone of the site’s been pretty decent. I know there’s been heated moments here and there and even some knock down drag outs .. but overall, the site’s fairly self-policed.

It seems to get really ugly in the game threads, it seems. Too bad the flame throwers don’t come out until game time and spew their bile there.

As I’ve said Al, thanks for keeping the bar high and the door wide open for us all. Thanks for saving us all a seat in the virtual Wrigley here ..

Game threads

Yeah, it’s gotten to the point where I stay away from them when the Cubs are losing - way too much ugliness. I understand the frustration, but I’m already feeling it - I don’t want to read it, too.

That's an excellent

way of saying how I feel about the ugliness in the game threads.

I'm embarrassed I recommended the game threads to my teenage daughter

to follow the games instead of MLB Gameday.

It’s not that she’s never heard the inappropriate language before, but she told me there’s “so much hate and negativity” going on that she cannot stay here anymore. She follows the game on Gameday again.

Let me join in and say THANKS to Al and all the BCB’ers that have made my days and nights enjoyable. We cannot let the naysayers bring us down.

I'm really sorry

that your daughter was subjected to the ugliness in the game threads. When we’re winning they are fine but when things go south it gets pretty bad.

Agreed.

I love visiting this site, but have found it’s better to stay away from the live game threads. Too much bile.

Thanks Al, for reminding everyone what “civil discourse” is supposed to be.

Pat Fitzgerald taking credit

The 7th inning yesterday was a site for sore eyes. I was getting a bit annoyed though with Pat Fitzgerald (NW Head Football Coach) taking credit for the inning. I think he was serious…..

Bottom of the 6th

Was worse for me, because I was in a car. Missed about 80% of the pitches because of the silly interview. Another reason to drop that tradition.

Yeah, that was excruciating

At one point I didn’t even know who was batting, and at no point during the interview did I know what the count was.

That guy just gave these long rambling and boring answers to every question, never pausing for the action to take place. You’re not on Larry King, Pat – we’re not listening because we want to hear what you have to say.

Indeed

Hughes really needs to be the one to rein that in, though. Interrupt at least every other pitch!

beating cc and sheets

would really put them in a funk over there. what a great way to start off the last couple of months by serving notice that their best isn’t good enough.

Tonight's game

This probably is more meaningful from a fan’s perspective than the two teams, but—

The Brewers are expected to win tonight because of the matchup. While I want the Cubs to win tonight, I think it’s a bigger game for the Brewers because it’s the one matchup that clearly favors them.

As it’s been said, anything can happen and that’s why they play the games. But a Cubs’ win tonight could set a really nice tone for the series.

CC can join Roy Halladay as a leader in consecutive complete games this season

as long as it’s a complete game loss (like Halladay has done 3 times this year, going 1-3 in four consecutive complete games).

the shark

i think the cubs may something reall special in samardzija. i am predicting he will be lights out vs the brewcrew

Just to be "that guy" I remember a lot of people getting excited about

Erik Patterson after the White Sox series. Just saying, he has pitched two games, he is young, and he is going to struggle at times.

He's definitely shown the ability to play up to the competition
More fun song tie in's - seeing that the North East is in a Springsteen state of mind right now

Cant wait until tonights & thursday show @ Giants stadium – DVR is all set and be checking the blackberry between songs.

1) Growin up – some people on this site need to

2) Murder Incorporated – What they are going to be saying in Milwakee after this series
3) My City of Ruins – What will be left behind when the Cubs bus pulls out
4) Darkness on the Edge of Town – How the brew crew fans will feel thursday night

5) Born to Run – Yes the cubs are !!!
6) Land of Hope and Dreams – What we all live every game !!!

The post that really got me was...

the personal attack on Al and how is has a “large head” and all that noise. I did not get involved in that thread however I found it to be very offensive to me and I assume Al took it that way too.

Al you do a GREAT job of running this site. I could not even think of how I could run it half as well as you do, work full time, and make it to all the home games (even tho I dont have a chance to do that). You always bring up good points from the past and have a vast knowlage about the Cubs and do alot of research for the previews of every pitching match up. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!!

BTW...

Al, I think you handled it very well. From what I saw you did not “Attack” the person who did post that.

Posting

Al, I agree that people need to stop attacking each other, and their opinions. I’m pretty tired of the Blue Mike bashing that goes on. Everytime, and I mean every time the guy posts, people are all over him. It’s ridiculous. I’ve been here a year, and I haven’t seen him post anything too outlandish. Most of the time I find his opinions bang on, if not a little too bang on. Is he negative? Sure. Is he the only one who is? Not exactly.

I’d be happy with a split this week, and ecstatic with 3 of 4. Go Cubs!

Wrong! This is what happens when adults leave the room.

Again, reading is fundamental. If your MDBNIU acumen is this low, nobody is going to listen to you.

I'm on here daily

and all I see are people bashing the guy. He only gets into it when it’s in response.

BTW

nice job calling me a child and insulting me. You proved Al’s point nicely.

You've proved you haven't really paid attention to MDBNIU's posts at all...

Every single thing I typed was a MDBNIU reference.

Subtle, but...

... maybe you should have just let this go.

SWL I really like you and your opinions,

but your vendetta against MDBNIU is…well…kind of ridiculous.

MDBNIU, like everyone else here, was 50% right and 50% wrong. And SWL you too are 50% right and 50% wrong when you would attack him.

But he is gone. He said he was leaving and I have not seem him back. Stop talking about him and he will be forgotten by the end of the Brewer’s Series.

I kind of miss MDBNIU. Half the crap he said made me think and half the he would make me laugh (or watching people shoot him down would make me laugh).

Just my two cents and as Dennis Miller used to say back when he was actually funny, “That’s just my opinion, I could be wrong.”

P.S. Al, sorry I used the “R” word yesterday, it won’t happen again.

Didn't know MDBNIU left the site

I must have missed that. I wouldn’t have brought him up if I’d known that. We all have opinions. We may not agree with each other, but enough with the attacks. How about the Cubs bats attack CC tonight? Deal? Done.

By attack CC

I mean attack his pitches, of course!

CC is a big dude.

I don’t know if you attacked him just with a bat that it would be enough.

Zombrano could take him
While we're at it -- your sig line

Some of us live in Wisconsin.

If you've only been here a year

then you have no idea what BM is actually like. There is a reason why he has been banned 4 times. You have not been the recipient of one of his hateful posts so do not condem those who have been.

Fair enough

but even when his posts are innocuous, people, including your beloved Drew, jump all over him. It’s grown really tiresome. Can’t people just let it go? Since he’s decided to leave, I guess we can all forget it, so I regret bringing it up.

Personally, I don't care what Blue Mike posted in the past...

I’ve only been on this site since the beginning of this season and I completely agree with Canadian-I’ve never seen him post anything that was all that bad. Plus, he’s clearly a knowledgeable, longtime Cub fan which is good enough for me. I don’t agree with him all the time, but the bashing (esp. when he’s not even online and people start PREPARING to bash him if and when he does come on) starts to seem pretty high school.
I understand that he can maybe come off as abrasive at times but he’s far from the only one here who’s guilty of that.

Yawn.
Excellent comeback.

Much more insightful than anything Blue Mike would have posted.

LOL!!!

Where do you think SWL got that from? “Yawn” was a BM special.

So very appropriate….a BM special.

Nicely done.
Irrelevant.

except for the irony of employing the same tactics as the guy you despise.

I don't despise him...

I think his repetitive foolishness and ego-driven posts were amusing. I never took any of his insults to heart. I never personally attacked him the way he saw fit to attack others. He was just a different kind of guy, and some people really didn’t like him. I thought he brought a valuable perspective to the discussion most of the time…You obviously are a defender of the guy, so I’m not begrudging you for your opinion (the opposite of MDBNIU’s M.O. ).

My beloved Drew?

Drew isw a great guy and adds a lot to this site and I consider him a friend. I don’t speak for Drew, he’s his own man. Just because you thought his posts were innocuous does not mean others did. You are right…you shouldn’t have brought it up.

Really?

Honestly, some of the things he posted couldn’t have offended Mother Theresa, and people were all over him.

Agreed.

It’s like people need an enemy. Now what are they going to do now that he’s gone?

Well I don't know about you...

but I’m going to start by simply attacking all of Sue’s posts now.

Bring it on

big boy (and I mean that in every sense of the word). ;-)

You do know I'm

joking right? I mean I wouldn’t know if you were…. um…..a…..oh never mind. :D

A Big Boy?

Yeah, that's

what I’m talking about. hehehe

Are you sure?

Um, positive
do ya like

gladiator movies, Timmy?

Tell your old man to drag Walton and Lanier up and down the court for 48 minutes....
I'm sorry Sue

but I can’t keep silent any longer. We have a special kind of love… a love what dare not speak it’s name!!!

:D

Remember that time… on the beach… in Santorini…. we walked along that beach… remember looking back… sometimes there were one set of footprints, sometimes there were two… all those times… YOU WOULDN’T GET OFF MY BACK!!!!!

Very funny.

See, we here at BCB can keep it light!

Let’s kick some Brewer ass this week!

anyone whose been banned 3 times and comes back with a new name

must do something pretty bad to get banned…. it people here do get cut a fair amount of slack.

Do I know what he did to get banned each time? No but I do trust he must have been pretty vicious to have that happen. Yeah I do.

There were some extremely nasty personal remarks made.

Sue can attest to that.

Aw, Drew.....

You’re such a sweetie. Laura is a lucky girl.

I hope she is.

She got a secondary infection in her kidneys recovering from the surgery, so she may have to go back into hospital tomorrow. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen.

Aw, I'm sorry to hear that.

I hope she doesn’t have to either. Please give her my best.

all I'm going to say

is that I strongly differ with your interpretation of Blue-Mike’s posts, on both a substantive and a semantic level.

Do the Cubs have a huge series starting tonight or what?

Blue Mike/MDBNIU is gone so can’t we all just get along?

Yes.

I play well with others.

how do you get them to fit

snugly, like legos? My others-walls keep falling apart…

LOOOOOOOOOUU

“We’ve still got a long ways to go, I don’t like to get giggly over things in July. But the team’s playing well, they really are. They’re playing with confidence, and it shows.” – 7/14/2007

Great quote

if only things had stayed on that path, the boys would still be up 4 or 5 games, and this series wouldn’t be as crucial, at least for the Cubs. Oh well, time to get back on track. Need big series from DLee and ARam.
