it looks like this ump is giving Johnson the low pitch when it is fastballs,
but when Z throws his breaking ball, the ump is not giving him the low pitch.
that seems to be how I see this ump’s “inconsistency.” It is not working to Z’s advantage as he is not getting the calls on his low breaking ball while Johnson is getting the call on his low fastball.
…I’m gonna make up a t-shirt with a circle-slash over a tomahawk on the front and “Real fans don’t need props.” on the back. And then go sell them near Turner Field when the Cubs are in town.

it looks like this ump is giving Johnson the low pitch when it is fastballs,
but when Z throws his breaking ball, the ump is not giving him the low pitch.
that seems to be how I see this ump’s “inconsistency.” It is not working to Z’s advantage as he is not getting the calls on his low breaking ball while Johnson is getting the call on his low fastball.
