I flew RF-4s for a couple tours in SE Asia, but moved up to F-4Es so I could kill something instead of taking pictures…Hope the Cubbies do the same to the Nats this weekend!

which I flew in Okinawa and Korea in the late 70’s to mid 80’s before going to the F-4E/G Fighter versions in Desert Storm. They are all retired now just like me and while they rot in the boneyard in southern AZ, I am waiting for the Cubbies to fulfill their destiny and the only picture I want is the one with World Series Champs on the Wrigley Field Marquee in late October. So let’s get Marquis some runs today and break the Lee+Dome funk of late!

I thought the 322 TRS stood for Tactical Reconnaisance Squadron, but it has changed since I retired in ’99.

We were at our summer home in northern NJ (on beautiful Lake Hopatcong). So we took our patio boat to a local sports-bar so our family of Cubs Fans could see the momentous occasion. The game got rained out… so we got to see the first full game under the lights the next night vs. The Mets. Fond memories. Wrigley looked beautiful with its new lights!
