...it’s young guys like this that get their confidence and mentality broken by being on such crappy teams. This guy would be a easy #2 on even a mediocre team.
The pirate ownership scammed the taxpayers into building a new stadium,
and then continues to be cheap by not signing the best available players in the draft and keeping their own good players that they develop. This is definitely bad for baseball.
Is par for the course these days. Even if there’s a pretense of private funding, the owners get ginormous tax breaks and other deals from the local government, which takes the taxpayer money as well, just not as prominently
...and don’t appreciate shitty ownership. I’d rather see the Pirates do well and we have to compete against that, rather than with an incompetent owner and managemnet.
