Hmmm..
Forgive me, it’s still pretty early, but the theological implications of the Sunday Funnies today are making my ministerial noodle boil. Lessee, is it the postmodern angst that seems more Kierkegaardian or is the fact that there’s some god concepts that just can’t get along? This gives me gristle to epistle upon when I take the pulpit the next time I’m preaching somewhere.
I am gonna have to mull on this a bit … but I do love the toon work. I am always fascinated by the technique and your cartoonist’s obvious talent. I wish I knew how to do art work like this on the computer. I cartoon quite a bit myself, or used to, and did so regularly for my kindergarten Sunday School classes. I’m getting ready to actually start do some for our blog and website and need to get sharp on that.
sorry, trying to be the wiseguy in the same spirit as the post
the little gods of baseball are worrying that the God Upstairs might visit their chosen peoples twith the same “curse” that those of the Cub Nation have endured, with one of them thinking “hey, we need to find a way to make Him be more like us” .. and the little gods close ranks and realize .. Uh, that’s not gonna happen..
at least that’s what I got out of it …
I was trying to play the theological analysta here in trying to figure out what school of philsophy or current thought this might be playing into …
Sorry for being too highfalutin. The cookies need to be on the bottom shelf, not the top one .. to use an older saw.

I think I'm stupid
Because I had trouble following the cartoon… and even more trouble following your post.

Wait till part 3!!
Al Yellon - August 31, 2008
i get it .. it's kind like the standard movie trilogy, right?
no 1 – makes the rules
no 2 – bends the rules
no 3 – there are no rules (which is why Matrix Revolutions and Jaws 3 stank ..)
Interesting to see where the pantheon ends up at ..

Page loading error
This is the second cartoon in a row that I’ve received a page loading error when trying to open it. I use Firefox 3.

Really?
Weird. I have no trouble with IE7. I wonder if there are still some bugs in Firefox 3, which is pretty new.
