As a special education teacher, I was both offended and could see their reason for making fun of the character – it was a mockery of Forrest Gump, I Am Sam, RainMan, etc. But my colleagues aren’t as understanding, it’s been a big ordeal down here at KU, the #1 ranked SPED program in the country.
