How to tell its time to go to bed:

You read Josh’s recap and read “Hung-Wen Chen” as “Wang Chung” and start singing to yourself.

At least I amused myself! :-P (Thanks for the update, Josh!)

Aaron Miles was 1 for 4 with a double in his rehab appearance.

imagine if he did that on the cubs

You'll be imagining for a long time.

Although, he has seven doubles in the major leagues this year. Frankly, I can’t remember a single one of them.

the last time i remember a hit by aaron miles

was that hit in the cleveland series off woody

Not that I'm in a hurry..

..but how long is this Miles rehab gonna last?

The Union won’t allow for a vet to just stay in AAA, right?

Are the Cubs hoping Miles can rediscover his swing in the minors.

or a league gm

rediscovers a mancrush for him and offers us a pitcher or catcher in return.

I'd take a bag of used baseballs.
dj lamahieu signed

as listed in a fanshot. he will go to boise soon, after his obligatory short stay in arizona.

two of the cubs best three players in boise (lee and watkins, with ha also on the medal stand) play short and second. lemahieu plays second and short. up in peoria, lake and flaherty are both hitting under .250 by a touch.

it’s nice having more talent than spots in the starting lineups than the other way around.

Watkins has the ability to play some OF, or

at least, he has played some OF last year in AZL. LeMahieu may also be tried at 3rd. Another guy is Dwayne Kemp, but I haven’t followed too closely to see how his rehab is going. With DJ’s long season, I imagine that this may be a take it easy summer for him, a few AB’s, get used to pro life.
