Funny story - just after the first time you got me on that (like the next day)
A buddy from high school posted the vid on his Facebook page, raving about the blonde dancer. Apparently he has been in love with her since high school. Same video twice in two days – weird.
Most HR hitters will tell you that a nice, level swing is the key to hitting it out. Henry Aaron often said he hit his HRs when he wasn’t trying to jack one.
On Friday night I suggested Marmol be sent down to AAA
and got taken to the ringer by other BCB’ers. But on Saturday night even Kasper and Brenly suggested it might be the right move. The guy’s release point is just a joke.
he was going on and on about….and I’m paraphrasing… “How can any Cub fan feel good about ANY lead in the late innings with their recent history and their franchise history…….”
He has NO control these days. Stevens has not been seen in over a week ( not counting when he was not on the roster) and Marshall had not pitched since Friday. We got out of it by the hair of our chinny,chin chins.
Till the next blow out or 17 inning game even though he has done well the few times he was in. In fact if the do bring up
Ryan I am imagine he will go down and that is ASSUMING Shark goes down for Gorzelanny tomorrow as it could be Stevens.
that Randy is our NUMBER ONE STARTER. As Col Jessup would say, to Dempster / Lilly / Z “if that’s a source of tension or embarrassment for you, I don’t give a s____”
He doesn’t have the spectacular stuff of a Carlos Zambrano, but he has much more poise. He doesn’t get rattled. I think we can expect many good surprises from this young man.

He has NO control these days. Stevens has not been seen in over a week ( not counting when he was not on the roster) and Marshall had not pitched since Friday. We got out of it by the hair of our chinny,chin chins.

Till the next blow out or 17 inning game even though he has done well the few times he was in. In fact if the do bring up
Ryan I am imagine he will go down and that is ASSUMING Shark goes down for Gorzelanny tomorrow as it could be Stevens.

Cannot get enough of Wells
This kid continues to impress me.
He doesn’t have the spectacular stuff of a Carlos Zambrano, but he has much more poise. He doesn’t get rattled. I think we can expect many good surprises from this young man.
