Would you rather have Marmol

Lilly gets a well-deserved one. This team hasn’t won a lot of games like this, and that eventually might prove to be its downfall. But as long as you’ve got a chance, might as well win one.

Get the White Sox tomorrow. After their big comeback today, I’m hoping they’ll be a little more content instead of being hungry to salvage one victory this week.

Pretty surprising, really,

since the Astros have given the Cubs problems over the years.

Odd scheduling this season with them, too. Three road trips to Houston in about 5-6 weeks, then two series in July-Aug/Sept at Wrigley.

The only “blot” on their record vs. the Astros this year were those two, 2-1 losses in Houston in June (at least I those were the final scores).

but this is a baseball blog, and I will keep my personal issues with him to myself.

My hatred towards the Sox will diminish exponentially once he steps down from his position. Guillén is a smart manager, but very short of being a philosopher.
