FAQ
1. The SB Nation Android app will be out by the holidays and include all of the functionality and features of the iPhone app
2. The app is still free
3. SB Nation is far from finished making updates to the app and will continue to add new features and content in the future, including FanShots and push notifications. If you have any further questions or comments, please send them to support (at) sbnation (dot) com.
A first impression: As much as the app has taken a big step forward and improved...
it still seems to be missing:
1) iPad awareness, i.e. full screen usage of the iPad
2) FanShots (as Al noted)
3) Creation of FanPosts and FanShots
It would be nice, but maybe too much to ask for, if the app would offer all of the functionality of the full website, i.e. “mobile friendly” jumps in the game threads or easy to use image posting (I assume that you can, currently, at least enter the HTML code per hand).
On the whole, congrats to SB-Nation for the update. Thank you!

image test - HTML manual entry

Doesn't appear to work... :-(
eths - October 24, 2011
After looking at the HTML of this page, manual entry should work after all.
I have a typo in the link of the image….

Try it again.

here goes...

I see it in the app...
eths - October 24, 2011 via iPhone app
...and also in the full web version.
eths - October 24, 2011
Yep. I see it in my browser.
Good news!
Al Yellon - October 24, 2011
I don't get it
Where’s the free iPhone ad?
RiskyBusiness - October 24, 2011
I wouldn't trust an ad for a free iPhone.
I’d think it was phoney and that they were really just trying to cell me something.
katie casey - October 24, 2011
What a lousy sails campaign.
eths - October 24, 2011
It wouldn't meet your app-roval?
Al Yellon - October 24, 2011
I looked app app-roval, but could find it.
eths - October 24, 2011
Maybe. I'm just app-rehensive about them.
katie casey - October 24, 2011
That is very app-arent.
Al Yellon - October 24, 2011
working well for me
This is a big improvement
Ihatethecards - October 24, 2011 via iPhone app
I've found an interesting bug? The app appears not to display all comments.

We can't reproduce it on our end
But appreciate the heads up none the less.
Luke Zimmermann - October 24, 2011
Reloading and restarting the app does not change things. A cache corruption in the app?
eths - October 24, 2011
Not working for me
Maybe I need to get an iPhone. That would probably be a good fix to try first.
