Last night, before Colvin struck out to end the game......
…. Brenly was bluntly asking why Campana didn’t run for Ramirez considering he would have been the tying run on second. Kasper’s silience wad deafening. I was thinking hell, we all know Colvin won’t hit Kimbrel. Put Campana in and have him steal third and try for home. Why not??
…. and bringing along Randy Hundley as bench coach, Lee Smith as pitching coach, Jody Davis as bullpen coach, Leon Durham as hitting coach, keep Dernier at first, and ask Moreland if he wants to coach third. If he doesn’t, I’ll ask Ron Coomer to coach third. It’s straight out of Hundley’s camps, but actually not a bad group, really.
Quade can be smart sometimes
qwerty123 - August 22, 2011
Too bad
He could have learned something
Hammer - August 22, 2011
I think Bobby V is annoying
but Id take Bobby in a baseball IQ test every time. Or should I say “Valley”
Hammer - August 22, 2011
Quade doesn't know any of his players actual names.
He probably wasn’t aware of “Valley’s” criticisms of Castro because he didn’t know who Castro was.
WindisBlowingOut! - August 22, 2011
Quade needs to get booed more when he walks out to the mound.
… Ricketts needs to hear wut the fans think of him and why would he admit to watching it muted?? This guy is a clown.
chit0wn - August 22, 2011
And yet in another article he said he might call Bobby V for his take on Castro...
carmen_fanzone - August 22, 2011
And Castro sits and Quade will probe him?
It’s funny that Quade needed an announcer to tell him this, when Quade is 100ft. away from it every freaking game. Unbelievable.
wrigleyrocker12 - August 22, 2011
What a joke for a manager. Thank god he'll be gone next year.
SackMan - August 22, 2011
Quade sucks
Dcr18 - August 22, 2011
Quade sounds like...
…his dog just died. He appears to be a beaten man.
His buddy is gone and he knows the protective layer is not there anymore.
MPH73 - August 22, 2011
Exactly.
Al Yellon - August 23, 2011
I don't think all the layers in the world could protect him after the job he's done this year.
I don’t care if his own mom was GM, she’d probably fire him too.

The answer to that question
…. is that we have a by-the-book manager who wouldn’t think of a creative idea like this in 10,000,000 years.
Al Yellon - August 24, 2011
Then I'm applying....
